Clemson Students Visit - Spring 2003

Earlier this summer, Pat Evans from the Clemson Horsemanship Program brought a group of visiting students from England to visit the farm.  They came to see what Progressive Horsemanship was all about and how it applied to different disciplines.

 The Students got to see several horses
at different  training:
Del ’s yearling QH filly, Gaza ;
Her 14 year old
Holsteiner
Mare, Ellie and
her 23 year old TB gelding Micki

Plus a student of hers, Jan and her 4 year old Paint filly, Daisy.

Micki and Ellie had to show off just a little...

Del did some bridleless riding to show the ultimate communication and trust between horse and human.

Even the yearling had some stuff to show off!

At the end of the demonstration the students were able to come down and socialize with the horses.  Needless to say the yearling being the ham that she is got all the attention.

Then the horses and the students along with Del and Jan lined up for a group picture.

It was great fun having Pat and her visiting students down for a visit.  Everyone had a lot of fun and the students learned some new ideas to take home to England with them.
