Six Mile Camp - Summer 2003

This summer Del worked with students from Six Mile, SC at a horse camp that was being put on by Brenda and Carl Rathz. Brenda is one of the Dave Seay Apprentices and operates Six Mile Stables. At her camp this year she had people from various horse careers visit and work with the camp participants. Del went and worked with the kids on the method of Progressive Horsemanship.

All the kids had a good time and Del really enjoyed teaching them. They got some individual time and group time.

The horses were the best students as they were very patient with the kids learning how to use the rope halters.

Del and her horse, Micki left the campers with lots to think about in developing their relationship with horses.
